Soft skill has become an integral part of one’s personality and in YS responsibility of soft skill training includes – English Speaking, Public speaking throughout the year by special teachers in the Language Lab and Audi Practice. Apart from this, it includes confidence building, stress management, dress etiquettes, Body language, group discussion and interview preparations.

Abhilasha Scholarship

YS College is launching a new program this year called ABHILASHA, a scholarship initiative aimed at helping grade 12 meritorious students take the first step towards fulfilling their dreams of pursuing BCA, BSc (IT), BCom and BA (Mass Communication and Journalism) Courses. This program not only helps students realize their full potential, but it also provides them with an excellent chance to pursue their aspirations by opening doors to company recruitments at an affordable fee structure.

The college is running scholarship scheme ‘Abhilasha’. This scholarship scheme can be availed by the students purely on academic performance in 12^th grade. The students who are already availing any Govt. Scholarship scheme are not entitled to avail ‘Abhilasha’. Abhilasha Benefits details are furnished here:

Terms and Conditions to avail ‘Abhilasha’:
1. Get register with Rs. 10,000/- which is Non-Refundable amount and will be adjusted towards 1^st semester college fees
2. All the required documents for the admission must be completed for availing Scholarship
3. In case any student avails/granted any Govt. Scholarship scheme then the student will not be entitled to ‘Abhilasha’
4. The students, who are already enjoying concession on any ground from the institution, will not be entitled to ‘Abhilasha’
5. If any student wants to adjust his/her scholarship amount in 1^st semester fees, he/she is to clear the balance fees of 1^st semester after the deduction of ‘Abhilasha’ amount. Otherwise ‘Abhilasha’ scholarship cheques will be awarded to them in September Month, on a condition that such students’ must clear their 1^st semester fees. In case, student doesn’t clear his dues, then he will not be entitled for Abhilasha Scholarship.
- All the students are to fill Admission form and ‘Abhilasha’ form with Rs. 10,000/- and all required details in college admission office at the time of Admission in 1^st Semester with YS College and this applies to “95% and above scorer” as well where the amount of 10,000 will be fully refunded at the successful completion of the degree.
