Whenever a child applies for admission to any class except preparatory, he/she is given the Model Test Papers to attempt. The test papers are so prepared in such a way that they facilitate in gauging the aptitude for competency in a particular subject at grade level. The Admission Test is based on the Model Test Papers only. Admission depends upon the performance of the child in the admission test and availability of seats on the particular class. However, the School Principal may refuse admission to any student without assigning any reason.
The fees will be charged as under:-
fee is required to be paid within a week from start of the quarter. A fine of INR 15/- per day will be charged for late payment of fee. If the fee is not paid up to 15th of the quarter, the name of the student will be struck off from the school. Please note that Examination fees will be charged in the months of August and February.
Concession of INR 200/- per month in monthly fees and INR 500/- in admission fee is available to the second and subsequent child. A maximum admission fee concession of up to 50% is available for outstanding students in academics, sports and co-curricular activities. In such a case, the Principal will be the sole judge.
Scholl Conveyance is available from Barnala and caters to the surrounding major towns and Villages. Transport charges will be extra. However, parents can opt for own private arrangement if they so desire.
The school management expects that children will abide by the rules and norms laid down from time to time for the betterment of the school. In the event of unacceptable indiscipline, insubordination and willful poor academic standards due long absence from school and therefore taking no interest in studies, the School management and Principal will reserve the right to expel her/him from the school. Fancy dyed and gel altered hairstyles are unacceptable and no student will be allowed in the school for the same.
Regular attendance in the school is compulsory. A student whose attendance falls short of 85% will not be allowed to sit in the examination. It is compulsory and beneficial to attend extra classes whenever they are held during summer and/or winter break. A specific fine shall be imposed by the Principal in case of absence without any valid reason. Sick leave must be supported with a certificate from medical officer from whom the child takes treatment.
In case a student wants to have a school leaving certificate issued, the parent/guardian must apply for it, at least one month in advance. The school fees for that quarter in which the certificate is required, will have to be deposited.
